Dr. Tobin Drake
Dr. Drake grew up in Carson, near Omaha. He finished his undergraduate studies at Creighton and the University of Colorado. After there, he went to the University of Iowa and earned his doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Drake completed his residency at the University of Iowa specializing in Endodontics. Dr. Drake began working at a private practice in eastern Iowa while waiting for his wife to finish a medical residency. He and his wife moved back to Omaha in 2009. Dr. Drake is an active member of the Omaha District Dental Society, Nebraska Dental Association, Nebraska Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Associations, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Drake spends free time with his five children and wife Ashley.
Melody Shadd
Office Manager
Melody grew up in Glenwood, Iowa, and then moved to the Omaha area. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and has been with our practice since 2003. For the first three years with our office, Melody worked as a dental assistant before transitioning to the front office and becoming our office manager. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of our office and the dental field and is active in the Metro Omaha Dental Office Leaders (M.O.D.O.L.) study club. Melody loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
Suzanne Hartman
Lead Dental Assistant
An Omaha native, Suzanne graduated with honors and received her dental assisting diploma from Vatterott College in 2008. She assisted in general and pediatric dentistry before coming to our office in 2011. During her time off, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband and children, getting together with friends, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Stephanie Ferdinand
Dental Assistant
Stephanie graduated from Vatterott College and received her dental assistant diploma in 2009. She started her assisting career in general dentistry and decided to expand her knowledge in endodontics and joined our team in 2019. When Stephanie is not caring for patients, she is spending her free time with her daughter Sophia, hanging out with friends, and enjoying activities outdoors.
Koren Burks
Dental Assistant
Koren received her dental assisting certificate from Midwest Dental Assisting School in 2021. During her externship she enjoyed her time in periodontics and emergency dentistry. She joined our endo team after graduating, to gain more experience. When Koren is not assisting with root canals, she enjoys being at home with her two crazy daughters, baking, and spending a little too much time at Target.
